Elijah's eldest brother (Chaz Pierick, along with his small business) and their younger sister (Crystal Thourson, her husband, and their little kids) have moved off the island because it is too expensive here.

Purpose for Running

"For my whole life, I have desired to be a public servant. Multiple people in the community asked me to run. With the eagerness to serve, I have been going door-to-door, asking people, "What can we do to make Hawaii better?" It is a joy hearing from neighbors throughout the district. It would be an honor to serve you more."
